Mind Wide Open - and other Enablements lol.

I ran across something interesting yesterday on my 'break' from cleaning the house. I have absolutely no clue how I wound up there , but there's a new blog in town and it's an art challenge blog , put together by Gail Schmidt called Mind Wide Open. I've added a button link at my top left sidebar , too. Pretty , isn't it?! Anyway , Gail's got an absolutely gorgeous image up for the first challenge piece - I suggest you pop over and see what's what! The prize is a gift certificate to her store Shabby Cottage Studio's , which is stocked with some rather scrumptious papers and other goodies. As are the Etsy's and websites of a few of her design team members , some of which I know and some of which I don't. And one of which I just scored several old tins and various other goodies from *cough*. That was Art and Images by Kim (come on , I had to look , didn't I?).
Next up , I have an online friend named Nellie Wortman who is so talented , and sweet as the day is long. Sweeter , actually - her blog is called Early Morning Thoughts and it's a blog I visit every chance I get. Nellie makes lovely art and has an Etsy site as well , Nellies Creative Touch - drop by and look , but please don't buy anything because I want it , ok?
Speaking of beautiful journals (was I?) another Etsy site of my friend Glenda Bailey , TwoCool Texans would be a place worth visiting , too. Glenda and her daughter Alisha both have some lovely things , and there's a great variety - felting , collage sheets , journals , the list goes on and on.
Remember - friends enable friends. Have fun , lol!

Thanks Kim for your nice words. I often end up at blogs that I too don't know how I got there. But however you got to Mind Wide Open I'm glad you did! I know Glenda too and I just love, love, love her work! And she's a sweetheart too.

Cheers,
Gail

Hey, girlie up there freezing in the NorthPole, okay, well nearly. We down here closer to the equator are sooo hotttt! Anyway, thanks for the little blurb about TwoCoolTexans. I love the doll that you did! Pretty neat. And hello to Gail. Isn't she just proliferous? I don't know how she keeps up with it all, but she sure does a good job. Hugs, Glenda
